About Our Lady of Snows School

Our Lady of Snows Matric. Hr. Sec. School is located at T.Kallikulam, Tirunelveli District. It is run by the Tuticorin Diocesan Association, a registered organization of the Catholic Diocese of Tuticorn. His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Yvon Ambroise being the President of the Association is the Patron and the Manager of the School.

The Catholic Diocese of Tuticorin, besides taking care of the pastoral needs of three and half lakh Catholic faithful, has also involved itself in the service of the Socio - Economic development of the people of Tuticorin Diocese irrespective of religion and caste. The diocese is running hospitals, homes for the aged and the under privilleged, training centres for women and the marginalized and other such charitable institutions. Education being an important instrument for social change, the diocese also runs 232 educational institutions. Our Lady of Snows Matric. Hr. Sec. School is one among them.

The diocese felt the need of such an educational institution in this locality. On 28.04.2016, His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Yvon Ambroise Blessed and laid the foundation stone for the school building and as planned the works were over on time and on 27.04.2017, the building was blessed and opened by his Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Yvon Ambroise. With the blessings and prayers of every good soul of the area concerned, the school started its function. Now the school is turned into a God-Given Gift to our locality and the children aspiring to have a bright future, by providing an international standard within comparatively lower fees structure.

To actualize the motto effectively, the school urges the students to be socially aware of and contribute their best to build a better society giving more importance to human dignity. keeping the motto in mind, the school aims at the integral formation of the students, which involves the intellectual, emotional, social, physical and spiritual aspects.
